Living Wills
If you don't have a living will already, maybe it's time to think about getting one. I've been watching the Terry Schiavo case for quite some time now and if that doesn't make you want to get a living will I'm not sure what would. No matter which side of the fence you're on (pull the tube or let her live) it is important for your wishes to be know legally in the event you are ever incapacitated. Personally I would not want to be in a vegetative state for 15 years (or even 1 year for that matter). IMHO that is not living. It has been a bitter 15 year fight which would have been completely avoided with a simple legal document. If you can't afford a lawyer to prepare one for you there are simple forms on the web or you can buy something like Quicken Family Lawyer.
